Bit by bit and piece by piece, local artist Neysa Winterer presents, Paper Reflections, a showing of scenic wintertide artworks created in torn paper assemblage. This impressive collection of landscapes embodies the warmth and comfort of the winter season with a kaleidoscope of color and heartwarming scenes. Each work recreates a series of memories unique to Winterer that synthesizes through the merging of thousands of small pieces of paper. A pictorial mosaic of sorts, painterly to the eye until you get closer and realize the absence of paint and the highly detailed, dimensional quality within each special piece. Whether your wintertime memories gravitate towards the crisp air of an evening jaunt or the breathtaking serenity of fresh fallen snow on pine, Winterer’s exhibition is a true reflection of the season of light and love.
